ENCORE DIAMONDS CARVE OUT NATIONAL ARMED FORCES MEMORIAL

Encore has once again carved out their name for supplying tooling used in a high profile memorial contract. Technical problems encountered by the stonemasons were overcome by Encore to carve out the 16,000 names of the servicemen killed on duty or as a result of terrorist action since the Second World War. The memorial stones are Portland limestone which contains many shells. Whilst not a problem in itself, the very fine design of lettering meant that special tools had to be designed to produce the craftsmanship required. Encore’s expertise in the diamond tool industry and our dedication to customer support and service won us the contract to produce the specialist tools and we are very proud to be associated with this beautiful memorial.
